Rendered with Mental Ray

This scene was created from a bunch of props that I've modeled for my senior class's project, called Project Octopus.  I've arranged the props to assemble together a scene that resembles an area in the game that I'm working in, called Shantytown.

The scene is rendered with Mental Ray, using Image Based Lighting + Final Gather and some direcitonal lights for Sun and Bounce illumination.  Normal and specular maps are used in most of this Maya scene.  Textures were edited and reworked from reference photos/images.  Grass texture was created from scratch in photoshop.

Renders with Half Life's Source engine

I exported the props to Half Life's Hammer Editor so I could run around the environment in real-time.  Various light settings were used, and the bottom two images uses full HDR lighting + bloom from the game engine.  Normal maps are applied to all objects.
