Name: Don Pham
Born: August 4th, 1981
Location: Milpitas, California
I'm currently a
student at the Academy of Art University, graduating in
Winter 2006. My area of focus is 3d environment
modeling for games. My
biggest sources of inspiration comes from RPG games, both
online (massive multiplayer) and single player. In fact, it was these
types of
games that inspired me to move in this direction.
Apart from 3d
modeling, I'm pretty much a video game and martial arts
addict. I practice the Chinese martial art called Wushu.
My ideal life is to have everything balanced around 3d
modeling, video games, and Wushu since they're all connected
with each other in certain ways.
Programs I mainly use to create my work:
-Maya
-Adobe Photoshop
-Unreal Editor
-Hammer Editor
Favorite type of games:
-RPGs (Final Fantasy series, MMOs)
-Fighting games (Tekken, Soul Calibur)
-First Person Shooters (Half-Life 2, Doom 3)
One of my
artwork pieces from the Academy
was printed on the San Francisco Business Times Newspaper. I
was pretty surprised since none of my stuff has ever been
printed before. Woot.
